New Proverb:

Honesty is the most profitable and 'Sleep Peacefully at Night' policy.

*The common interpretation of the word ‘best‘ in original proverb is perceived in terms of morality and ethics, which sound good in political speeches and at holy places; but most businessmen don’t give a damn about that in reality. My new proverb is practical, that I have derived from many years of observations and experience. Try it.
